FOR ECM, VBM and TECHNIVORM MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT
1. WHAT IS WARRANTY
Warranty coverage provided for is according to Manufacturer's warranty.
VELVETY COFFEE undertakes every ECM, VBM and Technivorm machine customer to rectify any problem with your machine, which is deemed to have been with the machine already upon purchase.
If a malfunction occurs within less than seven days after purchase (the date printed on the Invoice applies), we consider repairing or exchanging the machine. The decision to repair or exchange is at the sole discretion of our technical department.
Warranty works inclusive of parts are free of any charges to the customer for a period as indicated on this web and registered with our Cloud database.
All Warranty works are only executed at our designated workshop where we are equipped to identify the machine and diagnose it with the expertise from our Technical team, or external technical agent appointed by us. For any issue or problems that relates to proprietary asset with/from the manufacturer or supplier, then we shall collaborate closely with our partners for a resolution.
Warranty works on a machine does not reset or prolong the original Warranty.
Warranty period is one (1) calendar year for ECM and VBM machines, and five (5) years for Technivorm machine, from date of purchase, as indicated in the invoice.
2. SPECIAL TREATMENT FOR WARRANTY REPAIR
The machines brought to our designated service workshop for a warranty repair will be of highest priority. We will have your machine diagnosed and serviced within a reasonable period, ready for your collection. This is subjected to spare parts availability.
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
Any problem arising from operation which was not with the machine already when it was purchased or any of the below mentioned points are not covered under Warranty and service charges will apply for rectification.
If you do not use the machine in accordance what is printed in the Operator / User Instruction/ Operation Manual
Usage of home or domestic-based machine or appliance/s under commercial setting/s, for example, cafe, food and beverage outlets, large offices etc. shall void the warranty - (updated 2021-March-30).
If you use the machine on a power supply other than stated on the Rating Label by applying Transformers, Voltage Regulators or any other measure to make the machine work.
A broken Warranty Seal voids any Warranty completely.
Normal Wear & Tear of moving parts inclusive of O-Rings, Gaskets and Seals.
Clogged Grinders due to unsuitable coffee beans or not properly handled beans even if the beans are purchased from VELVETY COFFEE.
Removal of foreign parts in the grinder.
Scratches on decorative Parts like Drip Tray, Group head, Display Instruments or the Casing
Broken decorative parts
Using Unsuitable Cleaning Materials other than recommendations from us or the manufacturer, kindly request for consultation in this area.
Scaling of equipment due to usage of hard water.
All above mention points will not be rectified under Warranty. Service charges will apply if we assess the equipment to be servicable.
4. WARRANTY REGISTRATION
If you purchased your ECM, VBM and Technivorm Machine from VELVETY COFFEE you do not have to register your Warranty, the Invoice is your proof for warranty.
ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES WARRANTY
Should any of the Appliances fail within the warranty period from date of purchase, please bring the Appliance together with the Purchase Invoice to our designated workshop or facility for inspection.
Our technical department or appointed service care specialists shall assess and decide to repair or exchange the Appliance.
If we deem the damage/s to be due to mishandling by user/s or not following the instruction manual, no Warranty shall apply.
Any Warranty works on any Appliance does not reset/re-date or prolong the original Warranty and Warranty period.
There is no warranty provided for non-electrical accessories.
